AfriForum Youth hard at work in Potchefstroom

The AfriForum Youth branch at the North-West University’s (NWU’s) Potchefstroom campus successfully completed three actions on this campus last week.

According to Ohann Fourie, AfriForum’s Campus Coordinator at this University, the organisation last week offered self-defence classes to female students in cooperation with the campus and Tuks’s Cantus Guild, as well as the culture movement Voortrekkers. The branch also celebrated the annual Cantus Festival and planted 30 trees in Potchefstroom parks as part of AfriForum’s tree-planting month.

“AfriForum Youth makes a real difference on campus and contribute to the safety and cultural life of students, as well as environmental conservation,” says Chané de Ru, Chairperson of AfriForum Youth’s MWU Potchefstroom campus branch.
