AfriForum Youth condemns brutal attack on agricultural schoolboy

AfriForum Youth strongly condemns the alleged incident at the Hoër Landbouskool Noord-Kaapland in which a matric boy was physically and psychologically mortified in a brutal manner.  The Youth Organisation offered free counselling to the boy and other learners who have been traumatised by the attack.

“Criminal behaviour like this is intolerable. What contributes to the disgust of the matter is that the alleged offenders as well as bystanders evidently found the attack acceptable. AfriForum Youth hopes that the involved persons, who transgressed the Law, will be held responsible for their actions,” Henk Maree, National Chairperson of AfriForum Youth said. 

“We call on the parents of the victim as well as parents of other affected learners to contact us. We want to be afforded the opportunity to provide assistance where we can.”
