AfriForum Youth today sent an urgent letter to the management of the North-West University (NWU) to demand answers about why the voting process for the Student Representative Council (SRC) was reopened after the full election process. In addition, the NWU communicates that only 350 students will be able to vote on this late opportunity. No feedback has been received to date after AfriForum Youth sent a letter to the Independent Student Electoral Commission (ISEC) and the NWU on 5 September to highlight their concerns about the voting process and request feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The youth organisation is also aware of the SRC\u2019s formal letter which they issued to the university management on 6 September to express their dissatisfaction about the process. They have also received no feedback to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\u201cOur members, who are students of the Puk, are concerned about the reasons why this exception is made for 350 students.
