The AfriForum Youth branch of the University of Pretoria (UP) this past weekend started a sustainable vegetable garden at the SAWF Susan Strijdom Home for impaired senior citizens in Colbyn in cooperation with the Psyche Society on the main campus of the University.<\/p>\n
Joann\u00e9 le Roux, Psyche\u2019s Project Leader, says that even though the land has been cultivated and the vegetables have been planted, a lot of hard work still lay ahead. AfriForum Youth and Psyche will launch phase\u00a02 of the project on 10\u00a0September during which an irrigation system will be installed to facilitate the maintenance of the vegetable garden.<\/p>\n
