The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) recently informed 5 000 students that their bursaries had been cancelled because they included alleged false information in their bursary applications.

    I am from the Durban University of Technology, the Nsfas is refusing to pay my debt of 2018 it has been 3yrs now. I have proof that I was funded but they are refusing saying I was not funded. This matter even the Department of Higher Education has failed to resolve. I assume they misplaced my files at Nsfas now they wanna pin it on me, though I dont have the actual forms but I have some small proof in the DUT ITS it shows that my application for that year was successful even has Nsfas codes for res. Still they refuse to acknowledge this historical debt. This year I am not registered yet because of it. I need your assistance in the matter pls
